I have been blessed with serving at Victory Christian Academy over the last 3-4 years, teaching Bible, with most of that time being spent in the High School. I am driven towards the truth and beauty of the Gospel, and helping youth and young adults better pursue their love and obedience of the Greatest Commandment. In working with youth in a variety of capacities for the last 11-12 years, (and now more specifically in academics) I feel that the education of our Christian youth has been somewhat deemphasized and even sometimes neglected within family dynamics and the church. I believe this has been one of the major factors that have led to the disintegration of the family, apathy towards the faith, over indulgence within culture, and inability to distinguish the Christian Worldview from the other prevailing philosophies found within culture. I am passionate about fighting against these pervasive problems, and better helping our youth savor Christ, while learning to think, see the world, and live Christianly.
I have always been interested in sports and outdoor activities. More specifically I excelled at soccer and basketball growing up, but I have also enjoyed surfing, mountain biking, and a variety of others recreationally. I thoroughly enjoy reading, specifically within the Christian faith ranging anywhere from fiction to apologetics and theology. Some of my favorite authors are C.S. Lewis, Doug Wilson, Nate Wilson, G.K. Chesterton, John Bunyan, and John Piper. I am also planning to continue my education in the future by attending a distance program through New Saint Andrews College in Moscow Idaho. Once completed, I will have obtained a Masters of Classical Christian Studies.

- Have had a wide variety of cultural experiences within teaching and ministry, and have understood the importance of growing in wisdom and faithfulness in all facets of life.
- I have great people skills, and strive to approach all levels of leadership with humility, grace, patience, and strength. I believe that all forms of leadership take their respective cues from Christ as our Head. Ultimately understanding that Christ didn't come to be served, but rather He came to serve through sacrifice.
- I have made every effort to define my life and the world I live in by the standards laid out in scripture, and will strive to implement that same philosophy of life to the life of the school.
