Highly devoted musician who performs at least three times a week and rehearses five days of the week with various ensembles. I study all genres of music and can't seem to get enough of it. I plan to further my study of music throughout my entire life because it is what I love to do.
4th Chair trombone for the 2013 All-State Honor Band, 1st chair trombone in the Heritage High School Jazz Band, 1st Chair trombone at the Lee University Honor Band, 1st Chair string bass for the District Jazz Honor band, Have worked with Kayoko Dan, Bill Wynn, and Blair Callaway, Have been under the baton of Bill Wynn, Blair Callaway, Gary Wilkes, Dr. Chip Crotts, Betty Bates, Daniel Marshall, Joseph Herman, Dr. David Hollsinger, Alfred Watkins, and many others.
Plays trombone, string bass, and guitar. Won three grand championship marching band contests this year alone. I am the band captain of the entire band and section leader of the trombone section. was awarded the GMEA Exemplary Performance Award which was only given to three high schools in the state of Georgia. Had 12 members of the band to make All-State, 6 of which being trombones. This band has consistently received all superior ratings at every performance since the school began in 2008.

Plays with some of the most excellent players in the Chattanooga area, have performed many masterworks for orchestra, have performed with the Chattanooga boys choir. Under the direction of Gary Wilkes, we have learned to perform difficult music with minimum practice. Mr. Wilkes has also educated us in the time periods and purposes of the pieces. For example: Shostakovitch 's intentional composing to rebel against the soviet union, and Stravinsky's "The Rite Of Spring" and how much emotion it stirred when it debuted in Paris and caused a riot.
Performed innumerable performances on guitar, electric bass, and piano, I am the go to guy for all of the music theory knowledge, am a leader as well as a teacher for the younger generations, I run sound as well and was trained in the technicalities of recording equipment and many different types of mixers and effects processors.
Coursework in Music Theory, taken all A.P./Honor classes, member of the beta Club, SkillsUSA, and National Honor Society. I currently am in the top 20% of my class in academics and have a 3.92 G.P.A. I was awarded the top technical drafting award at Heritage high school as well as placed 2nd in the region to qualify for the state competition.
