Building representative for local and global awareness:
Directly report to General Manager. Provide onsite New Hire Orientation and Contractor training. Complete all building insurance renewals including property, general liability, and Fire. Manage all phases of Incident Management - Accident Reporting, investigations, filing Workmans Compensation Claims, follow-up with Case Manager and Workmans Compensation Doctors. Facilitate fifteen member Health Safety and Wellness Committee. Conduct building investigations, complete investigation reports and follow up with management on open items until complete. Build an effective open door policy with all employees and communicate safety updates and discuss employee concerns during All Hands Employee bi-weekly meeting. Establish online Safety Training program to ensure compliance with OSHA, CalOSHA, ANZI, CUPA, BAAQMD and other agencies. Manage Hazardous Waste Program; Storage, removal of Hazardous Waste and documentation (Manifest tracking- Reporting).
Direct report to Director of Engineering. Established the Safety / Product Liability Department for the Semiconductor Equipment Division throughout the United States (i.e.CA, AZ, VA, ID, OR, TX, FL,NY). Responsible for all phases of Incident Management- Accident Reporting, investigation, training, Hazardous Waste Management, Environmental Management. Permit filing and reporting for CUPA, City of San Jose, etc. Develop tracking and reporting system for all Product Liability Issues in the United States received from Canon Inc. headquarters located in Japan and Europe. Present Safety Department Report during the Quarterly Management Meeting attended by all Engineering, Administrative, Sales, and Finance managers as well as the VP of Operations.
Manage all aspects of the Customer Training Department. Direct report to the Director of Engineering. Responsible for creating, and managing department budget. Establish guidelines for Customer Training Modules, Training Schedules for customers as well as assign trainers to each module. Manage six trainers and two administrative staff members, meet with each team member to establish annual goals and evaluate their accomplishments quarterly to ensure their success.. Interact with all US Clients on a monthly basis to discuss their employee training requirements and ensure expectations are met. Present Training Department Report during the Quarterly Management Meeting attended by all Office, Engineering, Administrative, Sales, and Finance managers and the VP of Operations.
Assist in the creation of department goals, training program and course curriculum and materials. Customer training program consist of courses for Mechanical and Process Engineers, Manufacturing Technicians, Maintenance Engineers and Operators levels. Classes average 7 to 15 students per session. Courses include classroom presentation and hands-on-learning in a Class 100 to Class 1000 Cleanroom. Training is based on Performance Based Equipment Training (PBET) and adult learning techniques.
Completed all courses of study, meeting all the requirements for an AS Degree in Occupational Health and Safety on August 6, 2015.

Organic Gardening - Have been growing an organic garden along with my husband for over 9 years. We have a location at the local Community Gardens supported by Santa Clara County Master Gardeners. We generate our own compost from recycling our vegetables, egg shells, stale bread, etc.
Baking and Cooking - from our garden we have a demand for our salsa, and Habanero Peach Jam. We love creating recipes and sharing the product with family and friends.
Support local causes through our church by volunteering to clean a nearby school, a Community Easter Egg Hunt, and Christmas in July for children in need in the US as well as other countries.
