Worked as research assistant under the supervision of Dr. Chastity Bradford and PhD. student, Soweto Thomas, that examined the effect of
pumpkin–infused diets containing 4% pumpkin seed, 4% pumpkin flesh and 4% pumpkin seed/flesh blend on blood
pressure, vascular structure, cardiac function, liver fatty acid content, and hypertensive biomarkers.
Shadowed Dr. Mohamed Abdulla to study the antibacterial effect of metal nanoparticles using aloe vera plant extract solution as both a reducing and stabilizing agent in biomedical applications.
