I have always seen myself as an individual who obtains many traits of a leader. Although there are many, I believe I thrive in these specific traits of an excellent leader: punctuality, the ability to think critically, cooperativeness, and vulnerability. These traits not only exhibit the passion that drives me to do what I do, but it also allows others to trust, rely on, and respect me. My ability to critically think through things allows me to discriminate between useful and less useful solutions. This will be an extremely important asset in my line of work. The ability to cooperate is also something I have learned to master through experiences in college and everyday life. I know that cooperation decreases unproductive competition, enhances knowledge sharing, and provokes good communication skills, ultimately leading to established goals. Cooperation also lends into my ability to be vulnerable. Vulnerability allows me to have an open mind that is willing to adapt to change and able to see new perspectives. Each of the characteristics are and will be what make me salient in this line of work.
Throughout my college career I not only participated in the Salisbury University's Singers Showcase every year, but I also placed third in the semi-finals in the Nationals Association of Teachers of Singing.
