my job duties are to read the diagram then measure the house or building were we where going to be installing the seamless gutters then make, cut and install the job making sure everything was done correctly.
my job duties were to first go out with the owner don jordan and help measure and laser the job, after was to order all the material needed for a specific job sometimes multiple jobs at once.after it was delivered i would make sure we had everything we needed, then cut and drill everything perfectly to the 1/16th there is no room for error when building and installing hurricane shutters, once everything was cut and put together including installing and programming the motors ,remotes, and receivers which was one of my specialties because im knowledgeable with multiple brands of the electrical components like aht, ems, somfy, simu, maestroshield ext. then we would take the job out i would measure and lay everything out and coordinate with my guys on how the job needs to be done, sometimes we would run into issues were you gotta be a problem solver and think outside of the box to get the job done and it always had to be done rite im big on quality no cutting corners, after everything was installed i was also the electrician i ran all the wires and did all the final connections(it was inspected by Swanson's electric) because we pulled permits on everything and im not a licensed electrician but have 7 years experience i am working on getting my gc. including putting in breakers and knowing how many amps each motor needs and using the proper wire to to be up to code, i have never failed a structural or electrical inspection, i know almost everything as far as keeping shutters up to code.
my main duties here were being the electricians helper with wiring hurricane shutter but i also learned alot more working here i worked with some of the best in the business including installing shutters, hurricane glass windows and sliders and doing service calls, fixing any issues we had with any products.
