As Box Office Manager, my responsibilities were:
- To oversee a staff of 10-12 box office representatives. They would work the box office windows, answer the phones, and assist in any other projects that I may have needed their help.
- Oversee a box office intern. I was in charge of teaching them how the box office operates and how to run the box office on a daily basis.
- Worked with other departments to make sure ticketing needs were met. Mostly this was the sales department, they would bring me groups and season ticket holder issues or special requests. I would then discuss it with them or look into the matter and get back to them with the best possible solution to the issue.
- Maintained a small amount of money kept in the box office for daily use, while also counting/distributing/maintaining an extra amount for game day sales.- In charge, of maintaining and helping with customer service or alleviate any issues that may have occurred. I had the ability to issue refunds, exchange tickets, or give tickets to the customer depending on the situation and trying to also follow the rules and guidelines given to me by upper management.
