I have volunteered at the Oswego Salvation Army for two years. In this time I have worked at a Guest Chef dinner, I have helped at a food giveaway where I loaded cars, and I volunteered for kettle season. I have helped with the food pantry and I have helped with food sense. I have helped with Christmas distribution and in all aspects of the soup kitchen before and during the pandemic. I know a lot of the people who use the facility for their needs and I have a good relationship with them. I have a basic knowledge of the job and what needs to be done, and I care very much for our community and the work that the Salvation Army does. As helping others is one of my main priorities.
