Ensures that Maryland State Correctional Facilities meet the standards for Maryland Commission On Correctional Standards
Train and orientates all staff on the law of eliminating prison rape signed into law in 2003

Responsible for Locating,Isolating,Evacuating,Resolving, and Deactivating emergencies in Maryland Prison Facilities.
Maintained up-to-date knowledge of the Emergency Operations Plan and Use of Force Manual and conveys this plan into action in the event of an emergency.
Supervised five or more inmates. Designed, revised, and printed all Institutional forms. Ordered, received, and maintained departmental property inventory.
