I am committed to making a powerful difference in my clients' lives and helping them make their personal, family and business dreams a reality. The trust and confidence of my clients is my most treasured asset. I strive to help my clients grow, manage and protect their assets. I use my knowledge of the financial markets to assist clients with making prudent decisions for long-term financial success.
As a financial advisor I work closely with my clients to develop and implement a strategic portfolio to achieve their financial goals. I then closely monitor the performance of those portfolios and make strategic shifts as needed.
My recommendations for clients are goal based and, whenever possible, executed in wrap or fee based accounts allowing for the lowest cost investment options available.
I meet quarterly with clients to discuss our progress and success on our journey to achieving their goals. I educate clients on current market conditions and economic trends by distributing a monthly newsletter. I also hold one client education event and one client appreciation event per year. The client education events are on timely subjects that I feel may be helpful, such as social security strategies, education funding, or even things as simple as teaching senior citizens how to use an iPad or create a Facebook page to stay in touch with loved ones.
In this role I had the opportunity to oversee the operations of the entire sales staff in the St Paul region, which included offices in St Paul, Stillwater, Rochester, Edina, North Oaks, and Eau Claire.
I acted as a strategic partner and problem resolution source for a sales force of approximately 80 advisors and 30 client associates. I performed daily approval for complex operations functions such as new accounts, wire transfers, and equity and option trades.
I obtained the Series 9/10 in this role and maintain these supervisory licenses today.
Although I enjoyed working with financial advisors and client associates and sharing my knowledge and providing strategic solutions and insight, I very much missed working and helping clients and ultimately decided to return to a sales role.
I started at RBC Wealth Management in 2006 in Fort Worth, TX and transferred to St Paul, MN in November of 2006 to work with a team of advisors.
With this group I had the opportunity to work closely with ultra high net worth clients who have been an integral part of St Paul's history. I worked closely with these clients and strategic partners to implement option strategies, manage cash flow, structure loans to secure financing for real estate developments, as well as prepare quarterly performance reports.
In this role, I was the first point of contact for these ultra high net worth clients and solved problems for these clients on a daily basis. I developed key relationships in this role and continue to maintain those relationships today.
I started at Wells Fargo as a teller. I was promoted to personal banker and shortly after was offered a job with Wells Fargo Investments based on my successful referral program as a personal banker.
As a client associate, I obtained my Series 7, 63, 65, and insurance licenses. I worked with a number of different financial advisors gaining valuable knowledge and experience learning from a several advisors with very diverse types of businesses and strategies. I learned how to listen to clients, hear their stories, determine their challenges and how to develop strategies to achieve their goals. I gathered client information, opened accounts, prepared paperwork and documents, client reports and serviced these accounts daily through trade execution and cash flow management.
In this role I also worked as a phone bank trader, facilitating trades for Wells Fargo clients in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro. This was a fast paced, high energy position that demanded an extreme ability to multi-task. I thrived and gained valuable experience.
I attended Texas State University before accepting a position at Wells Fargo in 1998.
i have completed 4 of the 8 required courses in the ChFC designation through American College.
