I grew up on the family farm in the small town of Harvey, ND acquiring skills in agriculture as well as ranching. I've ran mostly John Deere equipment while helping out with haying, harvest, or feeding of our 120 cow-calf pairs.

Every morning upon arriving at work I would drive along the pens to check the amount of feed left over from the day before to see if modifications (more or less feed) are needed. Once this was done and no sick cattle were spotted then I would load the feeder wagon with the appropriate amount for the corresponding pen. After feeding was completed other duties would be carried out ranging from hauling hay, grinding hay, scraping/cleaning pens, make sure all pens have water, and several other odds and ends.
