various hardware components. Served as a member of the Bureau's Change Control
Board. Set up Windows XP/Win7, MS Office to work in various foreign language

Senior Programmer, investigated options to start migration from a Wang VS7330
to a Client Server System. Set up SMP Server with NT Server and Microsoft SQL
Server (ver 4.21a). After setting up tables using Access V2 via the upsizing
wizard, wrote a series of Wang Cobol programs to format flat files into ASCII
tab delimit files to be transferred to the server using glossar software and a special dat drive.
Wrote programs to mirror the batch occurring on our Wang system to the server
using Wang Cobol via Lightspeed.

part of a team of Senior Systems Analysts and Senior Programmers, supported
quarterly software releases at 27+ remote field sites. Wrote Software Change
Requests (SCR's) and Engineer Change Proposals (ECP's) after receiving changes
or additions to client's software. Coded changes to programs per the ECP's,
coded new programs and subroutines as necessary. Assisted Hotline with responding
to questions on software and hardware when FastLan problems arose, service
requests from Documentation personnel for assistance and troubleshooting PC
Graphical and Word Processing tools. Performed Research and Development work on
a SMP machine using Access and SQL Server.

I served in the U.S., Southeast Asia, Central America and Europe. In addition to my duties I also had additional duties as barracks sergeant at multiple posts and was part of a post level color guard. My career in the service culminated with a posting at the Pentagon, promotion to E-7 (Sergeant First Class) and awarding of the Meritorious Service Medal.
