The last 12 years, dating back to November 2001, I have spent managing certified farmers' markets throughout the Greater San Francisco Bay Region. The job has been all encompassing with regard to autonomy and exceeding expectations put forth by those overseeing my work. The challenge of managing a farmers' market differs from other service industry professions, insomuch as the manager must multi-task by keeping happy three independent sets of customers: 1) The market sponsor (i.e. Parks & Rec personnel, local chamber of commerce or property owners), 2) The farmers and other producers and 3) The actual shoppers attending my market.

Other aspects of my job include compiling annual reports for the market sponsor, devising promotional action plans, monthly e-mail newsletters, social networking and grassroots outreach into the local community in which each market reside.

The markets that I have managed have produced exceptional growth setting the standard for other managers within my industry to strive for. My customer service skills are exceptional, slow to anger and always looking for a "soft landing" place in settling any disputes that may arise.

With the vast experience that I have accumulated, I am certain that I am ready to partner with willing sponsors to create new and fresh opportunities for farmers and local entrepreneurs to grow their respective businesses!
