Duties as Demobilization Unit Lead include participating in planning and tactical meetings, manage and ensure all demobilization specialists follow regulations and understand their responsibilities regarding demobilization of equipment and personnel, oversee and monitor demobilization process for each piece of equipment and employee for the state of MS, engage safety, evaluate logistics and transportation capabilities required to support demobilization, track & brief Planning Chief on demobilization progress, debrief all personnel prior to demobilization and ensure all section/unit records, documents, and computer/digital files are downloaded and forwarded to documentation unit for all equipment and personnel in the State of MS. Also tracked attendance, signed time sheets and submitted to payroll. Assisted demobilization staff with payroll issues. Primary contact for notifying companies of employees that were no longer needed on the response. Filed daily reports via Sharepoint of employee demobilization notifications and transfers.
