Lead Landscaper, 04/2021 to 10/2021
Revive Landscape DesignCity, STATE,

As the senior member of a small landscaping business, I work and lead a team to successfully obtain and finish a maintenance or construction job. The work includes one on one contact with clients, discussing the needs of the clients and explaining the work to be done. I assign and schedule the labor needed for the job, maintain contact with the client and deliver invoices. It is my responsibility to identify problems that arise, evaluate alternatives, and make accommodations or decisions. My ability to identify a hurdle during the construction process requires that I adapt quickly to the situation and overcome difficulties. I determine which tools I will need, how much time it will take, if I have the expertise to accomplish it myself or need to bring someone in with that skillset, and how much it will cost approximately so that I can get the job done efficiently and inform the client. When my team and I do not have the expertise required (for example, plumbing and electrical), then I am responsible to secure the skillset to complete the job. I develop alternatives to present to the client and/or my supervisor. I present the client with my analysis and alternatives, with the goal of assisting the client in meeting their goals for their project. My work requires that I adhere to local government permitting requirements and the use of a personal computer and telephone to complete the job and maintain effective communication with the client.

Sales Associate, 04/2018 to 01/2019
Roseville NissanCity, STATE,

As a car salesperson, I was the public face of the dealership. I greeted customers and worked through the entire process of selling a car with them. I helped them pick out a car and test drive it. I helped customers lease and renew lease vehicles. called customers and made appointments over the phone and online. I used an online appointment log system to keep track of pertinent customer information. I gathered insurance information, payment information, and personal information and make sure the car I was selling was ready for the next step in the sales process. At the same time, it was my job to make sure the customer was happy and would complete the car buying experience. Communication skills were key in determining how I could help the customer meet their needs. I would oftentimes have customers that had poor credit or little to no down payment, but had a need for a vehicle because they were an Uber or Lyft driver. I would go out of my way to research online and make sure that I got them the best financing as well as the most reliable vehicle I could find for them because their livelihood depended on being able to have a good vehicle to safely transport clients. My job required that I adhere to regulations of the Department of Motor Vehicles such as temporary registration and license plate requirements. My job required that I provided excellent customer service and was proficient with computers, software, and data input.
