Support the field agents and technicians in the installation and trouble shooting of all major devices needed to collect telephonic messages. As the Taclane administrator, I ensure the proper programing and operation of all taclanes local and at our offisites. Taclanes provide encryption for IP datagram traffic. ATM traffic and
IP datagrams are encapsulated in ATM cells to support a variety of IP, ATM, and
mixed network configurations.
I insure that all employees are properly trained on the destruction of said Taclanes in case of an emergency and I do this via yearly training. Responsible for the access list of all employees entering our secure network room that house our Taclanes and other equipment that need to be under lock and key. Insure all security inspection points are covered. Performed operational tests on systems and equipment to reinforce proper processes and remed malfunctions. Installation and programing of routers, Asa's, switches and desktops to be deployed to the field and put in operation for active cases.
Installation and configuration of DCSNet routers, switches,
pix firewalls and other hardware for the networks prior to them being connected
to the DCS network. Produce spreadsheets via Microsoft Excel need to track IP
addresses for equipment on the network.
I'm responsible for the acquisition and managing of the
received shipments of multi-millions of dollars of Cisco orders placed through
the year for equipment refresh initiative.
As manager of the Independent verification and validation (IV&V ) program I was responsible for learning the process of individual systems performed stated by engineers that released the programs. It was also my responsibility to perform independent verification and validation of all processes a system was accredited to perform.
I implement custom test plans, test them and provided results in writing of all results. During such testing, I go through several means of testing to validate the exact reported results. If my results do not match the results of the engineer, I document my findings in writing to the engineer and Unit Chief for further inspection or repairs by the engineer.
Support my unit of over 90 employees as a government purchase card holder. I research and purchase a wide variety of equipment and supplies to support FBI ELSUR operations. This function runs across multiple programs and requires attention to detail in assuring bills are invoiced, paid and reconciled with in the parameters outlined as a credit card holder.
Provide support to the field by traveling to field offices to assist in physically moving the central monitoring plant when new field offices are constructed. I provide on site assistance and remedies to collection issues and conduct installations. Responsible for the monitoring of our nation-wide networks to rectify circuit issues early in the morning before other team members arrive and most field offices begin daily operation. This would assure limited operational downtime for collections.

Project manager of the design and installation of new field offices. I worked closely with the architects, space management, contractors and security division to build cad designs of each field office. I designed and assisted in the installation of all indoor and outdoor camera's, access control devices and alarm devices to insure the safety and protection of FBI personnel and property. Guided FBI personnel and contractors via Cad and Visio drawings on the proper placement of conduit runs and break out boxes to allow ease of wire runs to support our installation following the FBI guide lines. I performed a wide range of advanced installation of CCTV, alarm and access control deices to include the programming of all equipment and its routing paths.
Personally supported over 12 field offices with all of there intrusion detection needs. I performed yearly inspection on location of each office to ensure compliance with FBI security regulations. Providing advanced directions on replacing outdated or failing equipment to include procurement and installation of equipment. Performed several installations of Alarm systems and CCTV systems overseas. Trained and lead groups of ET' and Tech Agents on residential CCTV and alarm installations.

As a supervisor for the Washington Field Office Mobile Shop, I performed installation and programming of mobile radio communication in undercover vehicles for agents and support personnel while utilizing advanced programing and tuning equipment. I supported our networks by routing and termination fiber runs. I installed and performed routine inspection of radio repeater sites to ensure proper input and out put of signals and verified that all equipment is properly working and secure.
