I was the supervisor on Kingsfield Elementary School. I started the job in Feb. 2017 and completed the project in Sept. 2018. I managed over 30 workers installing all the electrical, and the security conduit and cable for the main building and a smaller building with housed the chiller units and equipment.
I worked on Advanced Metering from Sept 2018 to May 2021. This work included installing meters in existing building, running conduit, pulling wire and cat 6 cable, installing Current Transformers on the feeders coming into the building and terminating the connections. I worked at Hurlburt Field AFB in Fort Walton FL, National Guard facilities in the southeast US, Camp Dodge in Des Moines, IA and Mississippi National Guard bases in Grenada, Jackson, Hattiesburg, and Gulfport MS.
Performed online and shutdown repair and installation work at both the Gulf Power Crist plant in Pensacola FL (03/2012-01/2013) and the Smith plant near Panama City, FL (01/2013-05/2016). Worked on electrical from 120 volt to 4160 volt, controls (Distributed Control System), communication/computer network and the DC battery powered backup system (130 volt). This work was underground duct banks cable tray, and rigid aluminum conduit. I became supervisor 05/2013. This expanded my job scope to include managing other electrician, estimating, and working with the power plant system owners.
First job was with Gibson Electric working on emergency power for a special needs shelter at WFHS in Pensacola, FL. This was installing a generator ATS and new service (800 amp). This included running 4 inch emt and pvc conduit, installing underground vaults, pulling wire and installing the new service. 3 months.
I next worked for Sanders Bros Electric at Port Saint Joe, FL on a new hospital. I worked in the central power plant running rigid pipe to the boilers, fire alarms, generator, and the air/vacuum systems. 2 Months.
The last job was worked at was for Gaylor Electric at he Thyysenkrupp steel mill in Calvert, AL. I work on the HDGL 1+3 lines. I worked on the two 3200 amp 460 volt switch gear for the utility/crane, the sub panels and the transformers. I ran rigid conduit/cable tray, pulled wire, megged wire, terminated and trouble shoot. Once the line was running I worked night shift trouble shooting the controls.
I started as an electrician at the Holley/Navarre FL wastewater treatment plant. Working on a plant expansion. Installed motor switches, motor controls, VFDs, limit switches, transducers, on\off\auto switches, oxygen sensors and installed the buckets for the existing MCC. The supervisor left in the middle of this job and I took over. I had two people working under me.
I started and completed the ECUA Pensacola Beach plant #2. This was the same type of work as Holley/Navarre except for a transfer switch for a portable generator (2-320 amp recept). I supervised 4-8 employees.
I started and completed the Southeast Pipe and Precast plant in Molino, FL. I installed motors for the cement mixers, and all the equipment for the casting of the pipe and making of the wire cages. Installed the conveyor belt motors. I installed the service, switchgear and MCC and power to two bridge cranes. Ran all the control wires and did the field terminations. Most of the equipment was used so some troubleshooting was required to get everything working properly. I supervised 4 to 8 employees.
Other work I did was the conference center rework at NAS pensacola, FL which required a new fire alarm system. Splitting up the service at the Sears warehouse at Pensacola, FL. I also installed lift stations and services.
