Work History
Dockworker/Forklift Operator, 07/2012 - 02/2015
Nubrakes Riverview, FL,

At Reddaway it was hard work and you had to be organized but easy to explain. I drove a forklift and unloaded incoming trucks freight onto the dock and had to manifest what freight it was and where i put it. I also organized freight on the dock by times that it went out. I also Loaded up outgoing trucks with freight by times and had to manifest what type of freight and where it was going. any damages done to the freight by me or done in shipping had to be recorded and had to be descriptive. Also all empty trucks had to be swept out and cleared of any debris. tying down freight and making sure freight was secured to ship out was crucial especially if the freight was hazardous. hazardous freight also had to be placard on the truck and marked on manifest by number or symbol of hazard. I had extra responsibility at this job compared to a casual dock worker, i also drove a GOAT, which was pretty much a mini semi truck that i hooked up to completed trailers on the dock and pulled the trailers out, weighed them, manifested them and then parked them in there designated spots. I would then pull unfinished or empty trailers back to the dock to be filled. This was a dangerous job if not being careful so it took a lot of concentration, hard work, memory and organization skills.

Automotive Technician, 05/2011 - 11/2011
Tyson Foods Morrilton, AR,

I was an auto technician here but not an advanced one. So i would perform tune ups, check & change oil and fluids. check engine lights to make sure everything was filled and running okay. I Align cars and rotate tires. Also replace or repair tires and clean the inside of the car so it looks nice for the customer. as far as in store responsibility i helped close the store more often then i helped open. When we closed the store we had to make sure everything was in its place as far as tools, make sure all cars were safe placed, locked and keys put up in the right place, clean up shop and lock the garage and front doors before we went home. On slow days i would help customers at the counter to ring up items or they would have me go in back to help organize tires. Once every two weeks i would help unload the freight truck and organize the parts section of the store. once in a while i would drive tires to other Firestone stores if we had a set that they needed or vice versa.

General Labor Worker, 12/2009 - 06/2010
Dierbergs Saint Charles, MO,

This job ranged through a wide variety of grunt work/labor. Acid or pressure washing old buildings in downtown Portland and restoring the outside to its former glory. Scrubbing decking, replacing screws, painting patio/porches, sanding and just restoration in general. I also did a lot of heavy labor such as carrying scaffolding up large flights of stairs, carrying heavy equipment, heavy tools and bits up stairs as well. I also did concrete work such as smoothing out large areas or jack hammering drive ways and pouring. I would drive to deliver parts to sites where equipment was needed or needed replaced do to breaking down and i would help organize the home building.

Courtesy Clerk, 10/2007 - 09/2009
Safeway City, STATE,

This was my first job. My position was a courtesy clerk. We had the responsibility's of helping customers find items, helping customers to there car to load the groceries, helping the cashier bag items and place the bags in carts, being kind and helpful asking if they had a nice day or if they found everything they needed, organizing shelves so items were easy to access, mopping and sweeping isles, empty and clean the bottle room, also clean bathrooms and empty all the garbage cans. I also was a very organized and clean person and took on extra responsibility considering i was no longer going to school. these extra responsibilities included working scattered hours, so i helped close the store and open the store so all the carts had to be in the store when closing and opening the store. I helped day stock and night stock with stocking the shelves. I helped close the bottle room at night so it had to be spick and span, i also opened the bottle room in the morning. I returned all left out items and pretty much helped with anything and everything within my jurisdiction with excellent organization skills and hard work. I would say i was pretty reliable as well when it comes to being on time and coming into work.
