- My first role at the DC is to arrive promptly ever morning clocking in before 7 am.
- After given my tasks for the day I then make sure I start the day as quick as possible to ensure our guests get the service they need.
- My tasks vary and include everything, from greeting our vendors at the receiving door, unloading and bringing in their freight with a sit down (FC) or stand up forklift (RC) depending on weight).
- I would then proceed to figure out if the freight was ASN or standard so that I can arrive it properly on the computer so that it may be received and processed.
- From this position I would also have to contact vendors to make sure they were coming in on time or if any of their freight had any problems and if they did I would work with them in a timely manner as to get the problem fixed so that thing could move by more smoothly.
- Receiving the freight using a TC for ASN or rolling PC being a 100% accurate and making sure all PO's were up to date.
- For the dock coordinator I would handle the coordination of our arriving and leaving containers for the day.
- I would have to first get with transportation and figure out what containers were coming in and which were going out for the day. Making sure that we had enough space and coordinating with the truck drivers to figure out if the container is a dry or refrigerated so that we can figure out where they need to be placed to be loaded or offline.
- I also have to make sure all containers leaving for the day have been fully filled up entirely so the corresponding stores get as much freight as possible.
- Hauling in freight for the day on a two pallet electric jack (PE) and making sure it got to their proper areas so that they could be received for the day.
- All roles are all done quickly, accurately, and as safe as possible.
- Maintained 99% accuracy when capturing information.

- My roles at sams had a variety of tasks that included pulling orders, cashiering, and assisting members.

- I would also be the forklift driver to bring down products for members that weren’t on the floor, using spotters, I would bring down the items as quickly and as safely as possible.

- My routine at Roy's was to arrive early to get my prepping done for the day.
