I have worked for Waste Management for over 8 years. Took on many different positions over the years. Starting at the landfill as a scale house attendant for 2 years, then moving to the call center for customer service for 2 years, in between I covered for the parts clerk and learned how to order and inventory parts plus keep track of all the spending. I kept daily and monthly logs for all reports done for 6 months. I then moved onto front load dispatch. Over the last 5 years I have done front load, residential and roll off dispatching for Salt Lake, Utah, Davis, Weber and Box Elder counties. I have experience in new and old ways of dispatching starting with radios and now GPS and sky mail. I printed route sheets for all lines of business and closed tickets.
Printed all route sheets. Dispatching for front load and roll off. Covering all other dispatchers during lunch. GPS, sky mail and use of radios. Problem solving for customers and drivers clearing up any issues. Closing tickets and dispatching any in coming loads.
Ordered all parts and tracked inventory. Did financial reports daily and monthly. Picked up parts if needed. Communicated with vendors.
Answered inbound calls from customers. Set up new accounts and some sales. Took payments. Problem solving and communicating with customers.
Weighed truck that came in with loads and cans. Made tickets and collected money. Printed and finished all daily reports. Ran errands and did deliveries.
