  • Developed and implemented new and novel pro-active database screening techniques to build and grow the University's prospect pool.
  • Develop and lead all Prospect Research and Management processes and systems, including the creation and implementation of policies for prospect assignments and moves management, implementing a systematic approach to research that continues to define and build the University's prospect pool and developing and evolving strategies to store and extract data, and maintain and refine codes and tables in Salesforce Advancement Connect and Banner Advancement.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Prospect Research and Management team and conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews.
  • Advise Development Staff in the strategic management of prospect relationships; advise and train staff on recording and reporting on these interactions.
  • Employ analytics, research and other information to efficiently move prospects through the development cycle and ensure that the value of Development Officer portfolios is increased and that philanthropic potential is optimized.
  • Create client-centered educational opportunities to ensure that Development staff and University leadership are appropriately educated and trained in the policies, products and services offered by Prospect Research and Management.
  • Working in close partnership with the Vice President and the Associate Vice President of Development, provide strategic information and analysis to conduct ongoing individual portfolio and pipeline reviews with Development Officers, manage and maintain the Principal Gift prospect pipeline, inform and co-facilitate the monthly Prospect Manager team strategy meetings and assist in the identification and development of the Board of Trustees candidate pipeline.
  • In collaboration with the Associate Vice President of Development and an external consulting firm, successfully co-facilitated a campaign feasibility study that included predictive analysis and wealth screening of the entire database (through an outside firm) and led to the creation of the University's campaign fundraising goal and strategic priority formulation. 
  • Acted as the Business Lead and subject matter expert for Prospect Management and Research in the successful configuration, testing, implementation and data migration over to a new CRM for University Development; continue to act as Business Lead by providing leadership, guidance and input in the ongoing evolution of this new platform.
Associate Director, Prospect Research and Management06/2010 to 09/2013

  • Developed and implemented new and novel pro-active database screening techniques that led to the increase in the size and robustness of the University's prospect pool.

  • Conducted detailed biographical research, including business and financial background and analysis on prospects, as they emerged in each stage of the development cycle of identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
Prospect Tracking Manager06/2009 to 06/2010

  • Developed and implemented the University's first Prospect and Moves Management system that included the creation and implementation of new portfolio management strategies, processes for data mapping and collection and policies.

Program Coordinator, Office of Planned Giving 06/2005 to 06/2009
