CII Research Team 323 – Served as a Team Member on Construction Industry Institute's (CII) Research Team 323. The focus of our research was to identify drivers and leading indicators related to interruptions in construction due to premature starts. Through our research a tool was developed to help the end user identify the possibility and severity of a construction interruption based on “Red, Yellow, and Orange Flags” provided from information entered into the tool. From there, the tool will define potential root causes and will lead the end user to literature and case studies including similarities, lessons learned, and additional helpful information to allow the user to develop a case and provide documentation to stake holders that may be pushing the project to be initiated prematurely.
