Perform the tasks of monitoring sales, purchases, salaries, payroll, and expenses of the hotel. Prepare forecasts and work with hotel staff to stay within the guidelines of the budget. I was brought in to assist with the closure of the hotel due to re-branding. Supervised a staff of 4 and worked closely with the ownership group and the Local 6 union on severance packages and transfers of employees to other properties. Responsible for all ongoing tax audits and ownerships reports during and after the close of the hotel.
