Having two Masters Degrees (Social Work and Master of Science in Public Health), two clinical licenses (Licensed Clinical Social Worker/LCSW and Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor/LAADC), and experience as Clinical Director and Social Work Manager lending to the ability to work with individuals with substance abuse/dependency, mental and behavioral health diagnoses, as well as medical diagnoses, specializing in persons with positive HIV status; Management of staff and history of budget and grant management; and extensive history in medical social work and case management.
Oversee the inpatient medical social work team to ensure culturally-competent, trauma-informed services are provided, with attention to supporting safe, appropriate discharges back to the community; Assist with complex cases as necessary to ensure appropriate throughput and team efficiency; provide support and consultation for the medical social work team.
General Duties: Assumes responsibility for regulatory compliance and the combined effectiveness of all program operations including nursing and social work care, intake, meal service, safety and residence milieu.
