In those units I draw blood, and did blood cultures. Assisted nurses and doctors with procedures. Worked front and back office assisting patients with making appointments, fill out paper work. Assisted patients in wheelchairs, and stretchier. Also, worked in Dailysis for over 15 years. Worked on the floor cannulating (inserting needles), getting vital signs, weights, access manager, preceptor, conference calls, catherter care, changing dressing, setting up appointments, drawing labs and preparing labs to be sent out, set up machines, did water checks in between shifts, attended mandatory meetings and give in services, gave input on patient care, reuse technician.

I went to nursing homes doing one on one talks to patients, went to the lunch room and sang songs, prayed with them, and read the bible to them. It was a very rewarding experience, because some of these patients did not have family or visitors.
