I started working in High school at Food Lion and after I graduated, I went to work full time at Link Taylor (Lexington Furniture Industries). Here I started out in a rip saw and then moving to operator and on to the glue department where I used a variety more machines. I then became a forklift driver and finally worked my way to a “non Paid” group leader where I assisted the supervisor in daily operations and leadership of several departments and employees. I left this position to pursue my career in Law Enforcement in 1999. I took Basic Law Enforcement Training in 2000, and during job seeking, I went to work at Stanley Furniture.
