Bio
Jessica, has over 30 years of dance experience, she studied dance and dance education at Shenandoah University. While attending Shenandoah she received extensive training in various dance styles with concentrations in Graham, & Limon technique as well as Choreography. Jessica has worked alongside and studied with Choreographer Tre Holloway, and with other notable instructors including: Mia Michaels, Nick Bass, Wade Robson, Dan Karaty, Ivan Kouemav, & Travis Wall. Musical Theatre credits include (Cumberland, MD): Bishop Walsh High School Productions: Crazy for You 2001, Footloose 2002, 42nd Street 2003, & Grease 2004. Potomac State College of West Virginia University's (WV) Bye, Bye Birdie 2005, & Cats 2006. Apple Alley Players (WV): The Music Man and Oliver. Steppin' Out's/New Embassy Theatre (MD)Chicago, 2014, and Spring Awakening,2015. She has choreographed and instructed students of all ages at Greater Washington Performing Arts Center, Metropolitan Fine Arts, Joy of Dance, The Kennedy Center, The Dream in Color Foundation, Tiny Dancers and Millennium Dance Complex. Her competitive studio dancers and choreography has won numerous awards at STARQUEST INTERNATIONAL, SHOWSTOPPERS, STAR TALENT, NUVO, STAR POWER, & NEXTSTAR. Her students have performed at the Kennedy Center Opera House, Walt Disney World, The Florida Orange Bowl Halftime show, and for the Harlem Globetrotters yearly. Jessica is a member of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education Recreation and Dance and DMA. Jessica has instructor at Millennium Dance Complex, in Pittsburgh, PA teaching various styles. She is also was an adjunct instructor at the Loudoun School of Ballet in Leesburg, VA. She is still the primary instructor of her own studio "Steppin' Out" , LaVale, MD and teaches Tap, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, & Hip-Hop at all levels.
