Directly responsible for ensuring the department is adequately staffed with qualified personnel to conduct safe flight operations. Provides oversight to all departmental programs. Including; training, supply readiness, physical fitness, career counseling and mentoring. Collateral Duties - Senior Enlisted Watch Officer Responsible for the training and supervision of 1,100 personnel in all aspects of shipboard security. Including; weapons training, secure entry point control, x-ray machine operations, escalation of force, mechanics of arrest, firefighting, medical response, bomb threat and invasion. Responsible for ensuring strict access to the ship and its secure spaces. Supervised security watch standers to ensure all personnel entering the ship are properly verified by picture id and their belongings searched and x-rayed. Command Leadership Training Facilitator/Program Manager Coordinated the efforts of 34 facilitators, including 19 senior non-commissioned officers and 15 mid-grade non-commissioned officers in conducting leadership training courses for 1100 crew members.
