I managed between two or four people teams every shift . I would have to communicate with t he owner on a daily base to create crews with in our company . When i would arrive for my shift i was due to be there a hour earlier then my crew so that i could make sure to have the right material and the right amount of material to complete all of our jobs on the schedule for that shift. I would have to go in the warehouse and move tons of pallets with the forklift and load the right pallets on the right truck . Some times i would have to pull material and make my own pallets. This job main purpose was painting all the lines and symbols on the roads we had signed contracts for. Everyone has many different duties including myself as well . Some days I will drive the paint truck , then i would drive on the back of the truck and operate the switches that controls the paint guns . On the thermo trucks i would throw bags in the kettles to keep the material loaded the bags are 50lbs each and one pallet weighed 1 ton i would throw about 8 tons total each shift . This job is based of off seasonal work due to working outside . After my first three months employed at Midlantic Markings INC. i was promoted from crew help[er to crew Foreman . I'm a very dedicated worker and i have always noticed that the company appreciated every part of my work . There is never any schedule due to the factor that we work on the road days and nights and with the weather we cant have a set schedule . So from March to December 23 we are on call the whole time . I have worked double shifts many times even triple shifts .
