Work History
10/2017 to Current Crane Operator Brink Constructors, Inc. | Miles City, MT,
  • When I transferred from Vulcraft to Nucor steel-TX, I was in our Round billet bay. I was the floor man and my duties were cut samples out of each heat for our lab, inspect the billets while we prepped and tagged them for our customer to ensure we held up the quality that we represent at Nucor. I also made sure our housekeeping was top notch and had a safe working area.
  • Shortly later we added a 3rd shift in the round billet bay and I became the crane operator for the 3rd shift.
  • I then moved to our shipping department in our Bay 2 crane that handles all the steel our Texas 1 mill runs. While at this position I worked well with my teammates to understand the mill schedule and started making changes to our bay to help with condensing stacks and making sure we had the room to always handle the amount of steel the mill produced. It was a very busy and non-stop job that I took pride in and made sure every day I was better than the day before and most of all I did it safely.
  • I am currently in our Bay 4 crane on our Texas 2 mill side where i hold myself to those same standards of first working safely and taking pride in the work I do.
06/2014 to 10/2017 Deck Loader Dollar Tree | Binghamton, NY,
  • When I joined the team of Vulcraft, I started as our trim builder.
  • Within four months I moved up to a crane operator in our deck mill loading trucks and receiving the decking from the mill.
  • After a year and half my supervisor asked me if I would go to the yard in a forklift and take over the put-away job after the last five people could not handle the job.
  • While doing the put-away job I worked with my supervisor and lead men to get a better system to help with getting the joist put into our inventory system and have the right location.
  • We upgraded our internet system, got new tough pads in the forklifts with our SAP software, changed the barcode on our tags so that it would scan better and added a wireless Bluetooth scanner that allowed you scan more bundles at a time and that allowed you to spend more time in your lift putting the joist into location.
  • After a year of doing that my supervisor asked me to go back to the deck mill on the crane because the individuals working in there now were not getting along and working good together.
  • When I started back I sat the two down and had a talk with them to clear the air and let them know we are a team and here to work safely and work together. Within weeks the atmosphere in our deckmill was back to a great working place where we all worked together and safely to take care of our customers.
12/2008 to 10/2017 Sports Broadcaster and Radio DJ KIVY Radio | City, STATE,
  • I broadcast all different highschool sports depending on what sport was being played at that time, Football, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Volleyball. I even had the privilege of broadcasting two games at the state tournament. One in boys high school basketball and the other in the boy's state baseball tournament.
  • For over five years I hosted a show called Southern Gospel Sunday. Every Sunday morning I would start my show live at 6 a.m and play the best southern gospel music for my listeners and take calls and request as well.
  • For four years I hosted a Friday night scoreboard show after the football games would end and listeners were able to call in and I would take scores from them and also talk to them about the game they attended. I would also call and interview local coaches live on the show after their games had ended for the listeners to enjoy.
  • I also would go to different businesses and sell them ad's to sponsor the youth of our community in the respective sports that I was broadcasting at that time.
07/2004 to 06/2014 Merchandise Manager Crockett Coca-Cola | City, STATE,
  • When I first started working with Coca-Cola at the age of 14 I counted all the money we gathered from all of our vending machines. Soon I moved up into a warehouse job building orders before moving into Merchandise Manager/Sales.
  • Designed displays to deliver interactive, engaging and memorable store experiences for shoppers.
  • Worked with store managers daily to get more displays in our stores to get more sales for that store and our business as well.
  • Supervised a team of 5 merchandising employees and trained and guided them to uphold the standards of our company while representing our company in the different stores.
  • I was also over the sales of 32 different convenience stores and 3 grocery stores that I went to each week and built relationships and trust with each owner or manager.
