I am writing to express my interest in the position for ZZZ. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from California State University Channel Islands, where I received a solid foundation in communication and interpersonal skills. Shortly after graduating I became employed with San Diego Superior Court, where I have been working in traffic operations and assisting with certain criminal operations. During my tenure with the court, I have gained knowledge on a variety of assignments, trained incoming clerks in different tasks, and created training manuals and procedures. I have solid interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with individuals at all levels. I also have strong talents in writing and team building. My organizational skills have allowed me to prioritize schedules and consistently meet project deadlines in a timely manner. I understand that you are looking for a dedicated professional who can be part of a growing team. I am proficient in time management; quick to learn new tasks and have earned the trust of those I work for and within professional areas requiring diplomacy, confidentiality and sensitivity. Additionally, what my resume does not entirely reflect is my ability to communicate effectively with others, the energy and enthusiasm with which I approach a project with, my desire to expand my knowledge in my career field, and my outstanding ability to organize and handle multi tasks simultaneously. I may be reached at (619) 948-3398 to arrange a meeting and discuss the job profile in accordance with my experience and your requirements. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Brianna Mercado
