I attended Delta College from 1998 to 2002 where I studied Criminal Justice and General Education.
I have been a Correctional Officer for 11 years. In that time, I have maintained a strong moral code and have the ability to handle stressful situations appropriately. I maintain my focus on safety in all interactions with inmates and staff.
Since 2007 I have been on second watch and have been assigned as a Holiday Relief Officer, EOP Officer and Search and Escort/Disciplinary Officer.
As a Holiday Relief Officer, I was assigned to various programs such as SHU/Ad-Seg, PSU, General Population, Dining Rooms,Yard, Control Booths and Observation positions.

I am now a relief in the B-Facility Watch Office where I am assigned as the Disciplinary Officer two days a week, Search and Escort Officer two days a week and a housing unit officer one day a week.
In the last 11 years, I have had a variety of assignments at CSP-Sacramento.
