In order to ensure that Corps Members (CMs) achieve their visions for equity with their students, CMs will receive grade-level and content specific supports. I provide additional technical leadership skill training, which includes content-based instructional practices and performance feedback. I create and lead nine (monthly) professional development sessions with the support and input of Teach for America staff. Focus of said sessions include teaching and modeling classroom practices, facilitating problem-solving protocols, and planning and executing experiential-focused learning experiences for Corps Members.
Selected as one of 3,000 out of 16, 500 applicants to serve in national service corps committed to teaching in under-resourced communities and becoming life-long leaders to expand opportunities for all children.
