Summary

I have worked for my families construction company most of my adult life, and we have built metal buildings all over SW Oklahoma. I am very good at my job, and I am very proud of our work, but while construction has been my main source of income, my passion has always been the outdoors. I don't necessarily feel like my professional work history reflects much insight towards the level of experience that I have for the job that I am applying for, at least it would appear that way on paper. However, the majority of the people we have worked for have been farmers and ranchers and I have been fortunate enough to get to know these people on a personal level, and over the years I have done a lot of hog trapping and hog hunting for these people to help them eradicate the hog problems that they have, or have had on their land. I have been trapping and disposing of feral swine, year around, for many years now. Not only do I enjoy doing it, but I also know how important it is that I continue doing my part as a trapper and Jessica. I know all of the signs and tracks to look for, and I know how the animals habits so therefore I can pattern the animals in a manner quick enough to get a strategy together and figure where the best place to set a trap would be. I also trap a little different than most people. I use hog panneling and T-posts to construct my traps out of, and I have custom trap doors that I use, but unlike most people I don't set a trip wire inside the trap. I actually run my trip wire up to a location where I can hide myself so that I can drop the door myself, from a safe distance of course. I don't miss hardly any hogs by doing it this way, and that allows me to trap them on a regular basis without them ever growing weary of my traps. I have a very high success rate by doing it like this and it's something that I have learned on my own over the years. I could go on and on explaining to you about the techniques I use and why I do them that way. I'm not "set in my ways" if you will, because I am always learning something new from other trappers, and from the swine. I am extremely confident in this field of work, and it is something that I enjoy doing. I also work with a crop insurance adjuster, so I know that I can properly file land damage assessments, and I can document the numbers of hogs that I trap on various properties. I've also worked on many cattle ranches and farms, so I know how important it is to make sure that every gate that is opened, is a gate that is closed, upon entering and exiting of all properties. I cant express how much I feel that I am perfect for this job. Please consider hiring me, thank you and God bless.
