Working with people with developmental disabilities and the geriatric population has helped me very much with nursing. The experience I have working under stressful situations made multitasking while in nursing school possible. I maintained honors status, was vice president of the student nurse association, a peer tutor, worked as a nurse extender to help during a difficult period of the pandemic, and managed to work my primary job with people with developmental disabilities. Eager to learn and focus on my new career that is just about to start.
