Manages and operates sophisticated radar and communications equipment in order to perform surveillance, combat identification, weapons control, tactical data link management operations. Counters electronic attack (EA) with electronic protection (EP) actions. Provides radar control and monitoring of air weapons during offensive and defensive air operations. Makes decisions in the conduct of battle management air operations and in system equipment management at the Tactical and Operational level of war.

Performed a combination of the following duties: patrol in specified areas; direct traffic; issue traffic citations; investigate accidents; detain or apprehend suspects, serve legal processes of courts. Responsible for conducting security inspections and ensuring resource protection measures were in place for all Department of Defense assets.
