Line medic for 6/37 Field Artillery. I was responsible for the health and safety of 60 soldiers while in the field. I was responsible for keeping 210 Fires Brigade of over 800 soldiers deployable with current immunizations.
Medical assistant to Physician at Camp Casey emergency room. Physician let us work under him and trained us how to do many different medical procedures (ex. sutures, caths, etc). Gave emergency care and transported via helicopter or ambulance to Seoul.
Worked at the 6C2 telemetry ward at TAMC. I monitored the telemetry of up to 24 patients at one time. Did over 1800 ekgs and did all patients blood works for RN's.
Worked at TAMC's cardiac stress test lab. Aided in over 2500 treadmill test, 1000 nuclear stress test, 100 tilt test, and 20 bubble studies.
Worked at TAMC's medical specialties clinic which consisted of gastroenterology, chemotherapy, oncology, hematology, rheumatology, and nephrology. My responsibilities including taking vitals, transport, blood work, appointment scheduling, and safety checks by JACHO standards. Assisted OIC and NCOIC.
