    • Shearing isolated DNA using the Covaris sonicator, tag/spri DNA using TECAN automation, and hybridize/load Exome patients on to our Hiseq, Miseq and Nextseq Sequencers.
    • Process Affymatrix SNP array DNA samples manually from start to finish. Once the data for those patients come out I am at task to upload, analyze and report any mutations through our Nexus Clinical software.
    • Performed both routine and emergency maintenance on our laboratory instruments for both departments.
    • Worked with multiple teams and departments to automate parts of our NGS assay to successfully bring down our companies turn around times.

    • Working as an assistant/trainee for Ambry's Microarray and Clinical validation teams I was responsible for performing the tasks of a CLS while validating our brand new automation machinery and help construct SOPs for our new processes.
    • Operated and configured scripts on TECAN liquid handling robotics for high-throughput assay preparation and mentored our Sample Management team on how to use it for their assays/preparations. 
    • Worked with multiple teams and departments to validate new clinical panels and testing. Example: Validating the Cardio micro array chip to target different genes than our standard Cancer panel.
