  • Daily Reconciliation to ensure balancing of charges, payments, adjustments and number of claims filed from EPIC against MedAssets.
  • Review the stage and status matrix in MedAssets Contract Management to ensure new contracts are loaded, tested and put in production as requested.
  • Review additions and changes to drugs in Epic RX for accuracy of required data to ensure the drugs will be billed to meet specific guidelines for all Vidant Health.
  • Make appropriate billing decisions for each service code as required by the third party payer guidelines and for each Vidant entity.
  • Research changes in CPT/HCPCS codes to ensure the Epic RX is compliant with third party regulations and requirements.
  • Work with the Vidant Health Pharmacists, Directors, Gatekeepers, Pharmacy IS, Revenue Integrity Manager and the Central Business Office on drug billing issues to ensure drugs are set up appropriately in Epic RX and affected accounts are corrected and re-billed.
  • Assist Revenue Integrity Manager and Administrator as needed on issues regarding billing accurateness and compliance.
