Dedicated Certified Pedorthist with more than 40 years in retail. I am service focused, friendly and excellent in customer service. My job is to provide service to all customers including those having a physician's written order to find suitable footwear for diabetes, arthritis or to contain an orthosis or brace . I will also provide the proper footwear for the proper use. Through the years I have trained personnel in sales and shoe fitting, handling cash, credit card machines and other aspects of retail shoe business.
In 1993 studied and passed a national exam to become a Certified Pedorthist. This requires attending seminars and workshops for continuing education points to keep up the Certification with American Board for Certi fication in Orthotics & Prosthetics.
I am trained to fit difficult foot problems. Some which are bunions , hammer toes, plantar fasciitis and others. I can give special customer care for special problems. This sets our store apart from others in the area.

Worked with my father at this family business from 1971 until October of 1979 when I purchased the business. At this time I provided customer service to all customers to find suitable footwear. I managed all aspects of the business, including bookkeeping, payroll, taxes, ordering , and working with vendors. Went out of business in June of 1991 and went to work for Weiner's Shoes, now dba Phillip's Shoes , where I am presently employed.
Attended UWEC for a summer school and a semester.
