While working at Hillside I hade the opportunity to go to school to become a CNA. I would pick up shifts in the evening and weekends alongside my main duties as human resources and medical records.
As the Human Resources of Hillside Nursing I was responsible for new employee background checks, new hire orientation, keeping track of yearly evaluations, and raises. I watched and monitored overtime. Worked with corporate to configure hours for payroll. I do well with multitasking and completing duties in a on time manner. I also helped with managing the residents spending, such as trips to store or beauty salon. Preformed monthly Audits for resident spending. I was responsible for ordering all office supplies for nursing and business. I was mind full of budget and spending.
Additional to Human Resources I also worked the Medical Records of the Residents for Hillside. Before filing any document in the residents record I would make sure it was complete to include any signatures needed by staff and/or physician. Checking correct name and date of birth was crucial for continued medical care. I regularly performed audits to make sure each resident was up to date on yearly physicals and progress notes. I provide list to doctors of patients with up coming visits required. I built new patient medical records and closed out any resident record that was expired, transferred, are released home. Daily I would file doctor notes, doctor orders, diagnostic imaging notes, labs, outside records for more then 80+ residents. Thinning charts and doing releases to insurance companies or other medical facilities were also performed. Being organized and managing time was strong characteristic to complete my daily duties. the following are other duties I performed as well
