Medical Assistant: expertise in EMA, entering medical histories and prescriptions. Assists provider during procedure/surgery. Prepares and collects path/lab specimens. Educates patients and responds to patient questions in office, on phone as needed. Documents all medical instructions given to patient.
Medical Esthetician: expertise in consults addressing patient needs and reccomending treatment plan both in office and home. Educating patient how to use purchased product and the importance of sunscreen. Selling skincare to fit each skin condition. Documenting in EMA
Medical Assisting: Greet patient, take history by obtaining and documenting information relating to either a focused or complete skin exam. Reviews medical and surgical history as well as medications patient takes. During the exam documents providers findings, assist in any biopsies taken by prepping and numbing area, photo of site, consent signature, assist provider, post care and instructions for patient, prepare biopsy for pick up. Cleaning and re stocking room.
Medical Esthetician: The Perfect Derma Peel, the Obagi Radiance and Blue peel. 10,20,50% TCA peels, 10,30, 50 and 70% glycolic, jessner, lactic acid chemical peels for cosmetic and insurance purposes. Laser hair removal, VPW laser, Fraxel laser, Clear and Brilliant Laser, Ultherapy, Dermaplanning, microdermabrasion and facials with extractions using different modalities depending on skin condition.
Educating patient in skincare at home regimen. All documenting in EMA following up by making next appointment.
