  • Post-procedure the RN continued client care with assessment and monitoring of vital signs, heart rhythm, stability, femoral or brachial artery site; sheath removal per protocol or orders, and dressing application with continued assessment of site patency; IV therapy, oral medication administration; Educate client and family post-procedure and for discharge; Report to staff nurse for inpatients; Discharge and educate clients with outpatient procedures.
