Twenty one years as pediatric nurse, ,specialized in cardiology. The last sixteen years I have worked on a step down unit which was mainly cardiac patients but also cared for general pediatrics, and hematology and oncology patients. Patients ranged from newborns to young adults. I was also cross trained to work in the cardiac ICU to care for select patients. I also have supervisor and managerial experience.

For the past 3 years I have worked with the adult population performing various stress tests in an ambulatory area.

Competently perform stress tests on a variety of patients.  The tests performed in our department are treadmill stress test, stress ECHO (performed on recumbent bike), Dobutamine stress ECHO and Nuclear Medicine stress tests.  Acts a liason between patients and Cardiologists and other physicians.  Work collaborately with ECHO sonographers, Cath lab, and EKG technicians.  This is a very autonomous area where you have to demonstrate independence and responsibility.

Competently care for cardiac patients. Patient population ranges from post-op care, heart transplants, LVADs, FTT patients.
