Leadership and supervision of teams of design professionals, construction managers, stakeholders, and general contractors in the planning, design and construction of public improvement projects. Manage scope, schedule and finances for multiple simultaneous projects with combined annual values up to $4M. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with jurisdictional authorities and permitting agencies. Oversee public procurements and contracts for consulting services and construction. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and agency policies. Support the capital planning and budgeting efforts of project sponsors. Assist and support the implementation and refinement of an enterprise-wide project and portfolio management system. Coordination with staff across the agency to resolve issues and continuously improve systems, processes and procedures. Participate in steering committees to develop and refine procurement rules and promote inclusion and equity both internally and outside the agency. Sponsor internships to promote greater diversity within the design and construction industry. Represent and promote the agency at trade and intergovernmental professional gatherings, conferences and outreach events. Guide and mentor other project managers in the use of project management best and standards according to the Metro Construction Project Management Guide and the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge.
