Summary
An IT Project Manager with extensive experience in application development / enhancement and infrastructure installation / upgrades. Experienced in both Business and Technical Project Management adhering to company policies and procedures. Functions independently with limited supervision or guidance from IT/Business Management. Managed all phases of various types of Business Initiative projects (Application Development) utilizing Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies. Managed all phases of various types of Technology Projects (Infrastructure / Hardware) using Waterfall methodology. Management of multiple projects simultaneously following the Software Development Life Cycle methodologies. Projects ranged in duration from 3 months to 3 years. Extensive experience in the creation of Project Plans utilizing MS Project, and Planview. Baselined Projects and adjusted schedules and tasks as the project progressed. Allocation of team members and resources to meet the changing corporate needs. Assisted the PMO to developed acceptable procedures, workflows, and documentation. Assigned the management of multiple preexisting projects to create a plan to bring back into Green Status. Resource Allocation in a Matrix organization, migrating conflicts in priority and continuously keeping all Technical/Business units apprised of our progress and status. Mentoring / Coaching / Training of team members and co-workers to ensure project / company success in delivering a quality application to client. Financial Reporting and Analysis of projects calculating return on investment, business case creation, forecasting, tracking actuals, providing status to Key Stakeholders and Project Teams. Closing of projects including financial, lessons learned and ensuring all artifacts are placed in a central depository.
