Brand Director | Barkley - Kansas City, MO02/2018 - Current

Strategic partner and trusted advisor for two of agency's top 10 clients, serving both internal and external teams on a day-to-day basis. I effectively orchestrate cross-functional teams by bringing the right talents together to tackle my clients' biggest challenges, serving as brand/business expert for Barkley team members.

Responsibilities and Key Accomplishments:

  • Provided integrated solutions and strategic recommendations that elevated client requests, solved business challenges and supported continued organic growth and client retention for Barkley
  • Developed yearly scopes and staffing plans that were effectively managed to meet or exceed agency profitability goals
  • Led annual planning efforts across both accounts, partnering with Creative Director and Strategy Director to identify and develop business-right solutions that were consumer-led and rooted in data
  • Accountable for leading integrated team that was responsible for flawless execution of cross-channel plans
  • Worked with clients and project management teams to effectively absorb and prioritize inbound requests to ensure day-to-day team was set up for success

  • Developing new retail-driven process and team structure for the agency. I continued to optimize, challenge and refine processes based on shifts in the business
  • Driving brand awareness, in-store traffic and brand loyalty by orchestrating, executing and monitoring campaign performance
  • Developing new marketing and communication strategies across two major consumer groups (new and existing customers), leveraging data and channel expertise
  • Collaborating with media teams (in- and out-of-house) to develop integrated solutions and monitor/optimize through media-mix-model results

For my national RV client I was responsible for:

  • Building a brand strategy and identity/design system that was unified under a new consumer-led brand idea
  • Leverage custom demand landscape research to build marketing and communication strategies directed at newly developed customer segments
  • Building a digital-first lead management and conversion plan to effectively nurture leads through the funnel and drive new unit sales
