Bio and Philosophy Summary

Simply put - I am a farmer's daughter. Growing up as a young girl on a ranch, I was blessed to have had a phenomenal mother and father who taught, cultivated and stoked the fire of service in me and my siblings. We were taught and challenged that we too could make a difference even within our tiny reach and to positively impact our environments. Respect, faith, education and rolling up my sleeves were part of my character formation and to this day, remain rooted in my daily work ethic. Neighbors were not people who lived across the street. Neighbors were seen and treated as family and community and thus, service is not merely a notion, but a spirit which makes up our great country.

Whether in broadcasting, social services, education, health care or volunteering, my professional career experience has taught me that there is always something new to learn. Pre-1997 my career span involved supervisor at school district, community relations coordinator in social services and as a broadcaster in radio.

As a life long learner, I am excited to learn a new segment of the community and re-enter the workforce. I am seeking opportunities in teaching, local government, as administrative assistant or in professional development. I welcome and prefer entry level positions. My people skills and responsibility attributes are highly regarded. I am confident I can successfully help your organization accomplish its mission and stewardship to the community.
