As a patient care technician, weighed patient and took blood pressure prior to having them seated. Followed Dr.'s treatment plan and set up machine accordingly under the advisement of RN. Monitored status of patient during tx and recorded findings. Recorded all findings using the current system following hospital's HIPPA protocol. I made the transition from a full-time patient care technician to a full-time biomedical technician in September 2000.
