Throughout my professional career, I have been able to interact closely to individuals and dedicate my time building relationships with a wide range of people. During my time at Big Y I have been exposed to many different situations and in working in this environment I've learned to problem solve quickly and communicate effectively to all ages. I've also used my knowledge in the Spanish and English language to communicate with customers. Being behind the desk I have also been able to manage multiple priorities without any problems. Whilst working at the Starr Program, I've worked with children ranging from ages 3-13 with different backgrounds. These kids were were sexually, physically, emotionally abused and neglected. Within the agency I would also pick up shifts at other programs geared for the youth with developmental disabilities and autism. I currently also work as a Behavioral Technician at the Autism Behavioral Center, which provides 1:1 services for kids on the autism spectrum.
